What URLflows for Jira does

URLflows for Jira surfaces your subtasks right where you're already working, so you never have to click into every parent issue to see what's underneath — and adds a pad that follows you across Jira for your notes, the practice for the page you're on, and what you're actually allowed to do there.

Subtasks, in context

URLflows for Jira is a focused Chrome extension for Atlassian Jira. It runs on your existing Jira in the browser — no backend, no sign-in, no account.

On boards — each parent card gets a “N subtasks” chip. Click it and the list expands in place, so the full breakdown of work is visible without leaving the board.
On the backlog — hover any issue to pop a tooltip listing that issue's subtasks, without opening it and losing your place.

Status and quick navigation

Every subtask URLflows shows is useful on its own:

A colour-coded status badge, so you can read progress without clicking in.
The assignee's avatar — a dashed circle marks unassigned work.
A click opens the subtask in Jira's slide-in side panel with no page reload; Ctrl/⌘-click or middle-click opens it in a new tab.

Sort, refresh, and control

Sort subtasks by status, key, summary, or assignee to read them the way that suits you.
A floating “Refresh Subtasks” button rescans after you've scrolled more of a big backlog into view.
An eye button on each board switches subtasks off for that board alone — see Turn subtasks off for one board.

Jira Notes & Guidance

A floating pad that sits on every Jira page — board, backlog, an issue, your dashboard — and holds the same rich-text notes wherever you are. Two optional sections attach beneath it:

Page Guide — works out which Jira page you're on and which flavour of project you're in, then shows the standard practice for that combination, with links out to Atlassian's own articles. Rewritable to match how your team actually works.
Your access — the permissions you hold in this project, the project lead to ask, and the groups you're in, without an admin screen you can't open.

And a tidier board

Hide Rovo Chat — Jira gives you no way to switch off its AI assistant; one toggle takes its entry points off your screen.
Done celebrations — drag an issue into Done for a quick animation. Eight styles, for every issue or only yours.
21 themes plus ten hover-highlight styles, a light/dark pair you can flip from the pad, and a full theme editor.
