See subtasks on your board

Open a Jira board and every parent card tells you how much is underneath it — one click expands the lot, in place, without opening the issue.

Open your board

Navigate to any board in your existing Jira (Atlassian) in the browser. As the board loads, URLflows works out which cards have subtasks and marks them automatically — there's nothing to switch on.

Expand a card's subtasks

Each parent issue gets a small “N subtasks” chip beneath it. Click the chip — or focus it and press Enter or Space — and the full list expands in place.

Only one card is expanded at a time, so the board stays tidy: opening a second card closes the first. Results are cached for five minutes to keep the API calls light.

Read each subtask at a glance

For each subtask in the expanded list you get:

  • The subtask's summary and its issue key.
  • A colour-coded status badge showing where that subtask stands.
  • The assignee's avatar — a dashed circle means nobody's picked it up yet.

That means you can scan an entire column and understand the real state of the work without opening a single parent.

Open a subtask

Click any subtask row and it opens in Jira's slide-in side panel — no page reload, and the board stays where it was behind it. Ctrl-click (⌘-click on a Mac) or middle-click opens it in a new tab instead.

Load more as you scroll

On large boards there can be more to load than fits on screen at first. After scrolling new rows into view, click the floating “Refresh Subtasks” button to scan them. If a card's subtasks look incomplete after a lot of scrolling, that's the button to reach for.
