What Sweata Weatha does

Sweata Weatha by URLflows is the weather for your places, without opening a page full of ads. Click the toolbar icon and it's there: the weather now, the hours and days ahead, and the rain radar.

The toolbar panel

Clicking the icon opens a panel with two tabs, Forecast and Radar.

  • Now: the temperature and what it feels like, today's high and low, the conditions, wind, humidity and today's chance of rain.
  • Air and sun: the air quality index and today's sunshine as two small gauges, plus pollen where it's measured (mostly Europe).
  • Daylight: a 24-hour timeline from sunrise to sunset, with a marker at the place's own time and the daylight left.
  • Next hours: the next six hours, hour by hour.
  • This week: seven days with highs, lows and the chance of rain.

See Read the toolbar panel for what each part means.

The rain radar

The Radar tab loops the last hour of rain and snow around your place, with the towns marked. Pause it, scrub through the hour, or zoom from your town out to the whole continent. See Use the rain radar.

The temperature on the icon

The toolbar icon shows the current temperature at the place you're showing, refreshed in the background. Hover it for the conditions. You can also set a click on the icon to open the panel in a window of its own. See The toolbar icon and the pop-out window.

Settings

The gear in the panel opens the settings page, with a search box at the top (press / to jump to it). Its sections are Getting Started, Places, Units, Radar, Toolbar Icon, Appearance, Backup & Restore, Resets and About. Changes save as you make them.

Where the weather comes from

Forecasts, air quality, pollen and place search come from Open-Meteo, the free weather service. The radar comes from RainViewer, on a map by Esri. There are no accounts, ads or tracking. See Privacy & permissions.
