Add and switch places

Sweata Weatha by URLflows shows the weather for places you choose. Save as many as you like; the one you're showing is the one in the panel and on the toolbar icon.

Add a place

  1. Open Settings → Places. (From the panel, press the gear.)
  2. Under Add a place, type a town or city name and press Search. Type at least two letters.
  3. Each result shows its region and country. Press Add beside the right one; it changes to Added.

The first place you add becomes the one shown. Search finds towns and cities by name, not street addresses or postcodes.

Switch places

Two ways:

  • In the panel: with more than one place saved, the place name becomes a list. Pick another place and the panel and icon follow.
  • In Settings → Places: under Your places, the one on show is marked Shown. Press Show beside another to switch.

Remove a place

Under Your places, press the remove button beside a place. If you remove the one you're showing, another saved place takes over. With no places left, the panel asks you to add one and the icon shows no temperature.

To remove every place at once, use Settings → Resets → Places.

What's sent when you search

A place search sends only what you type to Open-Meteo's place search. Showing a place sends its latitude and longitude for the forecast. Sweata Weatha never reads your device's location. See Privacy & permissions.
