Core How-Tos
The toolbar icon and the pop-out window
Sweata Weatha by URLflows puts the current temperature on its toolbar icon, and can open its panel in a window that stays beside your work.
The temperature on the icon
The icon beside the address bar shows the current temperature at the place you're showing, refreshed every 30 minutes in the background. Hover the icon for the place and the conditions.
To turn it off, open Settings → Toolbar Icon and switch off Show the temperature on the icon. The temperature uses your units; see Choose your units.
If the icon isn't in view, pin it: click the puzzle-piece Extensions icon and press the pin beside Sweata Weatha.
Open the panel in a window
In the panel, press Open in a window. The same panel opens in a window of its own that stays open and can be resized, and the radar grows with it. Opening Settings from the window leaves the window open.
Make the icon open the window
Open Settings → Toolbar Icon and set Toolbar icon opens to A separate window. A click then opens the window, or brings it to the front if it's already open. Set it back to The panel, under the icon for the usual panel. Either way, the button in the panel opens the window too.
