Getting Started

Read the toolbar panel

Click the Sweata Weatha icon and the panel opens on the Forecast tab, or on whichever tab you used last. Here's what each part shows.

The header

Beside the name are three buttons: Refresh the forecast, Open in a window (see The toolbar icon and the pop-out window) and Settings. The sun and moon button switches between light and dark.

Under the header is the place you're showing. With more than one place saved, it's a list you can switch from. Below it are the Forecast and Radar tabs.

Now

The big number is the temperature now, with an icon and a word for the conditions.
Under it: Feels like, then today's high and low.
The small row below shows the wind, the humidity and today's chance of rain. Point at an icon to see which is which.

The gauges

To the right of the temperature are up to two gauges. Each icon fills from the bottom by its value, and each hides when there's no data for the place.

Air quality: the air quality index, colored by its band from good to very poor. It uses the US AQI if your browser's language is set to the US, and the European AQI everywhere else. Point at it for the band in words.
Sunshine: the hours of sunshine forecast today, against the hours of daylight.

Daylight

A bar runs from midnight to midnight at the place, with the daylight band from sunrise to sunset and a marker at the place's time now. The times sit at each end, and the middle says how much daylight is left, or Before sunrise or After sunset. The marker moves while the panel is open.

Pollen

Where pollen is measured, mostly in Europe, a row shows Tree, Grass and Weed pollen, from None to Very high. Point at one for the count in grains per cubic meter. Elsewhere the row doesn't appear.

Next hours and This week

Next hours: now and the next five hours, each with an icon and the temperature.
This week: today and the next six days, with the low and high. A chance of rain shows for days at 20% or more.

Point at any hour or day for the conditions in words.

When it was updated

The foot of the panel says Updated and the time the forecast was fetched. If the forecast service can't be reached, it says Offline and the time of the forecast it's showing instead. Press Refresh the forecast to try again.
