Getting Started
Install Sweata Weatha
Sweata Weatha by URLflows installs from the Chrome Web Store in a few seconds. Its settings page opens at Getting Started, where you add the place you want the weather for.
Add it to your browser
- Open the Sweata Weatha by URLflows listing on the Chrome Web Store.
- Click Add to Chrome (the label adapts to your browser: "Add to Edge", "Add to Brave" and so on), then Add extension.
- The settings page opens at Getting Started, with three steps: add your place, check your units, and pin it to the toolbar.
Chrome shows no warning about reading websites when you add it, because Sweata Weatha asks for no access to them. It only keeps your settings and refreshes the forecast in the background. See Privacy & permissions.
Add your place
- On Getting Started, press Add a place, or open Settings → Places.
- Type a town or city under Add a place and press Search.
- Press Add beside the right one. Your first place is the one shown in the panel and on the icon.
Sweata Weatha never uses your device's location: you pick each place yourself. Add as many as you like; see Add and switch places.
Pin it to the toolbar
Click the puzzle-piece Extensions icon at the top right of the browser and press the pin beside Sweata Weatha by URLflows. Once it's pinned, the current temperature sits on the icon, so most of the time you don't need to click at all.
Which browsers work
Chrome, Edge, Brave, Opera, Arc, Vivaldi and other Chromium-based browsers all install from the same Chrome Web Store listing. There's no Firefox or Safari version. Sweata Weatha is private, free, forever: no account, no sign-in, no ads, nothing to pay.
