Playfull by URLflows
The streams you listen to while you work are scattered across bookmarks and tabs: a radio station here, a live channel there, a playlist you keep meaning to save. Playfull keeps them in one list, plays any of them with one click, and shows on the toolbar icon how many are playing, so nothing plays on unnoticed. Everything stays on your computer. Private, free, forever.
What you get
- One list for radio stations, live channels, playlists, podcasts and audio or video files — paste any address to save it
- A hundred live music, culture and public radio stations to start with, in twelve categories, each checked in October 2026
- Play audio right in the toolbar panel, with no window, and it keeps playing after the panel closes
- Pop any stream out into a compact player window with no address bar or tabs, with picture in picture for video
- A count on the toolbar icon of how many things are playing, and one place to pause, mute, show or close each
- Optional: list every other tab playing sound, with pause and play, mute and close for each
- Dark, Light, Seasons and Holidays themes, an optional seasonal animation, and a one-file backup
How to install
- Click Add to Chrome above (the label adapts to your browser — "Add to Edge", "Add to Brave", etc.) and confirm.
- Pin it from the puzzle-piece Extensions menu so it's always one click away.
- Click the icon and press Play beside a stream. NPR Program Stream and BBC World Service are switched on to start.
Browser support: Chrome, Edge, Brave, Opera, Arc, Vivaldi and other Chromium-based browsers all install from the same Chrome Web Store listing. No Firefox or Safari.
