Use the docked bar

The bar stays out of your way until you need it — hover the edge to slide it in, and tuck it away when you're done.

Show and hide the bar

The bar is hidden by default and reserves no page space, so it never pushes your content around. To bring it out, hover the docked edge of the window and it slides in. Move away and it tucks itself back out of sight.

Choose which edge it docks to

You can dock the bar to whichever edge suits your screen and workflow:

  • Top
  • Bottom
  • Left
  • Right

Set your preferred edge in the bar's settings.

Toggle it on or off per site

You don't have to show the bar everywhere. You can toggle it on or off per site, so it appears only on the pages where you want it and stays away from the ones where you don't.

Override placement per site

You can also override its placement per site. If a particular app's layout works better with the bar on a different edge, set that site's placement without changing your default everywhere else.
