Frequently asked questions
The questions people ask us most — all in one place.
Is URLflows for Individuals being retired?
Yes — soon. It's still on the Chrome Web Store today and everything you've set up stays on your machine, but it no longer gets new work, and in time it will come off the store.
All of our work now goes into the greatly improved URLflows for Teams. It does everything this sidebar does, adds bookmarks shared across your devices and your teammates, and gets every new feature — so do export a backup and move over when you can 🙂
Do I need an account?
No. URLflows for Individuals works entirely locally — no account, no sign-up, no login. Just install the extension and start organizing.
Is URLflows for Individuals free?
Yes — and it always will be. Every URLflows for Individuals feature is private, free, forever. There are no paid tiers, no upsells, and nothing locked behind a subscription.
Which browsers are supported?
Chrome and Chromium-based browsers like Edge, Brave, Opera, Arc, and Vivaldi. See Check browser compatibility for details.
Will my bookmarks sync across devices?
Not in this extension — URLflows for Individuals stores data locally rather than syncing through a server. To move between machines, use Back up & restore your data. If you want the same bookmarks on every device without exporting anything, that's what URLflows for Teams is built for — and it works just as well for a team of one.
Can I import my Chrome bookmarks?
Yes. See Import your Chrome bookmarks.
Does URLflows track which sites I visit?
No. URLflows only counts clicks on bookmarks inside URLflows, and those counts stay on your device. See Privacy & your data.
Can I customize the look?
Yes — themes, fonts, sizes, density, zoom, and which action-bar buttons appear are all configurable. See Customize themes, fonts & layout.
How do I report a bug or request a feature?
Use the Tell Us Something widget. We read every message.
