Privacy, Data & Troubleshooting
Privacy & your data
URLflows for Individuals is a local-first tool. Your bookmarks and click history stay on your machine.
Where your data lives
- All bookmarks, sections, and settings are stored in your browser's local extension storage.
- Click counts are stored locally and never leave your browser.
- No URLflows account is required — there's nothing to sign up for.
What we don't do
- We don't sell, share, or sync your bookmarks to any server.
- We don't track which URLs you visit outside URLflows.
- We don't use dark patterns to push anything — every feature is free, forever.
Optional analytics
URLflows includes a toggle for anonymous usage analytics that help us understand which features matter. It is off by default. If you enable it, we collect aggregate, non-identifying event counts — never URLs or bookmark titles. Manage it in Settings → Features.
Deleting your data
From Settings → Data Management you can reset settings or delete all URLflows data at any time. Uninstalling the extension also removes everything.
