Noggin by URLflows
The prompts that work best end up scattered across chat histories, notes and config folders, and the emoji and message formats you reach for every day live only in your head. Noggin keeps them in one place, with the blanks you fill in each time, ready to insert into any AI chat or coding tool, or into Slack. Private, free, forever.
What you get
- One vault for prompts, instructions, skills, emoji and Slack messages, with tags, notes, favorites and a usage history
- Blanks to fill in: write {{topic}} or {{tone|friendly}} and you're asked for each one before it's inserted
- Skills that live elsewhere: note where they're stored and how you call them (/my-skill)
- On ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini and other AI sites: saved prompts outlined, Save to vault, and your vault beside the page (Ctrl+Shift+Y)
- Emoji with what each one means, and shortcodes like :salute: that type them
- Copy for Slack on AI answers, and Slack message templates that paste in already formatted
- Rewrite me: rewrite any text in your own voice with Chrome's built-in on-device AI
- The panel under the icon, in the side panel or in its own window; a right-click menu; Dark, Light and seasonal themes; and a one-file backup
How to install
- Click Add to Chrome above (the label adapts to your browser — "Add to Edge", "Add to Brave", etc.) and confirm.
- Pin it from the puzzle-piece Extensions menu so your vault is one click away.
- Load the engineering or product management examples on the Getting started page, or save your own first prompt.
Browser support: Chrome, Edge, Brave, Opera, Arc, Vivaldi and other Chromium-based browsers all install from the same Chrome Web Store listing. No Firefox or Safari.
