Troubleshoot common issues
Most Sweata Weatha by URLflows problems come down to a missing place, a connection, or what a weather service has for your area. Here's what to check.
The icon shows no temperature
- Check you have a place: open Settings → Places.
- Check Show the temperature on the icon is on, under Settings → Toolbar Icon.
- If the icon isn't visible at all, pin it from the puzzle-piece Extensions menu.
- Offline, the icon keeps the last temperature it showed until the forecast service can be reached again.
The panel says Offline
The forecast service couldn't be reached, so the panel shows the last forecast it fetched, with its time. Check your connection, then press Refresh the forecast.
A place search finds nothing
Type at least two letters, and search by town or city name rather than a street address or postcode. If it says it couldn't reach the place search, check your connection.
The radar won't load
If the map says Couldn't load the radar, check your connection and open the Radar tab again. A network or VPN that blocks RainViewer or Esri's map servers will stop the radar but not the forecast. Remember the radar shows the past hour; an empty map means no rain or snow fell nearby.
Pollen or air quality is missing
Each part hides when there's no data for the place. Pollen is measured mostly in Europe, so outside it the pollen row doesn't appear.
The units or the air quality scale are wrong
Both start from your browser's language. Change the units in Settings → Units; see Choose your units. The air quality scale follows the language setting itself: the US AQI for the US, the European AQI elsewhere.
Still stuck?
Tell us what you see with the Tell Us Something button at the bottom of any page, and include your browser and the extension's version from Settings → About.
