Insert or copy from the toolbar panel

The toolbar panel is where you use what you've saved: search it, then insert an item straight into the page you're on or copy it.

Search and insert

  1. Click into the text box you want to fill: a prompt box, an email, a ticket.
  2. Click the Noggin icon in the toolbar and start typing to search your vault. Favorites and the current site's items come first, with your emoji in a row above them.
  3. Pick an item. If it has blanks, fill them in, then press Insert. Or press Copy and paste it wherever you like.

Every copy and insert counts toward the item's usage history and notes the site and page, so you can see where each item earns its keep. You can switch that off under Settings → On AI sites → Remember where you used each item.

Under the icon, beside the page, or in a window

The same panel opens three ways: under the toolbar icon, in Chrome's side panel beside the page, or in its own window that stays open while you work. The side panel and the window follow the tab you're on. Use the buttons in the panel's header to switch, or choose which one the icon opens under Settings → Appearance → Toolbar icon opens.

Add from the panel

Press + to paste in something new, or press Use the page's selected text to save what's selected on the page.
