Troubleshoot common issues
Most Chromie Homie by URLflows problems come down to what was pasted, or how a file is named. Here's what to check.
Pasting the dashboard finds no extensions
- Paste the page's source, not its text: press Ctrl+U on the dashboard, then Ctrl+A and Ctrl+C.
- Make sure you're signed in to the dashboard and its list of items has loaded before you copy.
- Or save the page with Ctrl+S and drop the .html file on the box.
An extension is missing
The dashboard's page source leaves out archived items: open each one from the dashboard's Archived filter and paste its own page. An extension on another publisher account needs that account's page: switch to it in the dashboard's menu and paste again. Or add it by ID under Add an extension.
A CSV file isn't matched
Files are matched by the extension's ID or name in the file name. If you renamed a file, or it can't tell, pick the Extension and Measure by hand on the import card.
Reviews or questions read wrong
Neither page has a documented layout, so the readers look for what a person sees: a name, a date, a rating and the text between. If a paste reads wrong, add the review or question by hand on the Feedback page.
The numbers look old
Chromie Homie only knows what you've brought in. Open Data health and work down Refresh next; see Keep your data fresh with Data health.
The AI buttons don't work
Chrome's built-in model needs a recent Chrome on a computer that can run it. Press Download the model on Settings → Feedback → On-device AI and wait for it to finish. Where it can't run, everything else still works; translation may still work, as it uses separate models.
Still stuck?
Use Tell Us Something at the bottom of any page on this site and pick Report Issue.
