Import and chart your analytics

The Developer Dashboard charts one extension at a time. Chromie Homie by URLflows takes the CSV files it exports and charts every extension together, or each one on its own.

Export the CSV files

  1. In the Developer Dashboard, open an extension's Users, Installs, Impressions or Ratings page.
  2. Export the chart as CSV, along with its by OS, region and language charts if you want the breakdowns.
  3. Repeat for each extension. You can export everything first and import it all at once.

Import them

Open Settings → Analytics and drop one or many files on Import CSV files (or press Choose CSV files). Each file is matched to its extension by the ID or name in its file name, and to its measure by its name and columns; pick either by hand when it can't tell.

A newer file for the same extension and measure adds to what's there; where the dates overlap, the newer file wins. Imported data lists what's in.

Read the charts

  • Compare: one measure at a time, every extension on the same scale. Click a name in the legend to hide or show it.
  • Latest: the latest values ranked.
  • Each extension: one small chart per extension, each on its own scale, to show its own trend.
  • One extension: every measure for one extension, each in its own chart.

Each pasted store page adds a day of public users and rating, two more measures. Releases and promotions on the timeline show as dashed lines; hover the chart there to read them.
