Privacy, Data & Troubleshooting
Privacy & permissions
Everything Browser Quick Fix Kit does runs on your computer. There's no account, no URLflows server, and nothing collected or sent anywhere.
Where your things go
- Settings, hidden elements and container zooms — in Chrome's local storage, on this computer.
- Screen grabs, HAR files and reports — only to your clipboard or your Downloads folder.
- Your clipboard — read only while Clipboard check is open, and never stored or sent. The full test puts it back afterwards.
- Your computer's name — stays on this computer, and isn't included in backups.
- Ask AI — the model runs on your computer. The conversation stays in local storage, and the log of what you tried is gone when Chrome closes.
Why it asks for each permission
Each sensitive permission belongs to one tool, and is used only when you click that tool.
- Read and change data on all websites — so hidden elements and container zoom come back when a page loads, and the tools can capture and run on any page.
- Debugger — HAR file for support, attached to one tab only while it records; Console errors, attached for a few seconds. Chrome shows its own bar each time.
- Clipboard read and write — Clipboard check, and copying grabs and reports.
- Manage extensions — the Extensions tool: list, switch on and off, reload.
- Browsing data and cookies — Clear cookies and cache, always behind a confirmation.
- Content settings — Pop-up blocker reads each site's pop-up setting, and adds an "allow" exception only when you click Allow.
- Desktop capture — Full screen grab, through Chrome's own picker.
- System CPU and memory — Computer and browser info, read when you open it.
- Storage, scripting and active tab — saving your settings, and starting the tools on tabs that were open before you installed it.
Removing your data
Settings → Resets clears any area, or everything. Removing the extension from chrome://extensions deletes everything it stored.
