Themes, light and dark, and animation
Settings → Appearance sets how the panel, the settings page and the picker's banner look. Reports always use plain colors, so they read the same wherever they're pasted.
Pick a theme
Feedback Smack starts on Dark. Under Theme, choose Light, a Seasons theme (or Auto, which follows the current season), or a Holidays theme for New Year's, Valentine's Day, Halloween, Harvest or the winter holidays.
The light/dark switch in the panel flips between your light theme and your dark one.
Animation
Animation in the side panel drifts snowfall, falling leaves, spring petals or summer fireflies across the panel. Match the theme picks one for a season or holiday theme, and nothing for the others. It's off by default, never runs on the pages you review, and is always off when your computer is set to reduce motion.
Put it back
Settings → Resets → Appearance returns to the default theme with the animation off.
