Back up, restore and reset
Your settings are one small record on this computer. Back it up to a file, restore it anywhere, or reset it a piece at a time.
Back up
Open Settings → Backup & Restore and press Export backup (.json). The file holds every setting, the theme included. Your copies aren't in it: they live only in the browser's memory.
Restore
On the same page, press Import backup… and choose the file. Importing replaces every setting with the file's contents.
Reset
Settings → Resets puts one area back without touching the rest:
- Copying: cards back on, three at once, top right, closing after 6 seconds without fading; screen grabs to the clipboard.
- Pasting: cleanup back on, pasted text back to the editor's own font and color.
- Appearance: back to the default theme.
Reset all settings returns the extension to a fresh install and closes every card, pinned ones too. It can't be undone, so export a backup first if you want one.
Find a setting
Type in Search settings at the top of the settings page (press / to jump there) to show only the settings that match. Esc or an empty box puts the page back. Changes save as you make them.
