Themes, light and dark
Chromie Homie by URLflows starts in the Dark theme. Settings → Appearance changes the theme for the toolbar panel and the settings page, where the panel opens, and an optional animation.
Pick a theme
Open Settings → Appearance and pick a theme under Theme: Dark, Light, or one of the seasonal and holiday themes. The sun and moon button beside the product name switches between Light and the last dark theme you used.
Customize
Under Customize, change the four key colors of the theme you're using: Background, Text, Buttons and Button text. Save to Customized keeps the original and puts your version under Customized. Use the original colors goes back, and Delete this version removes yours.
Panel, side panel or window
Toolbar icon opens picks where the panel opens: under the toolbar icon, in Chrome's side panel beside the page, or in its own window that stays open while you work. Whichever you pick, the panel's header has buttons for the other two.
Animation
Animation in the toolbar panel adds snowfall, falling leaves, spring petals or summer fireflies. Match the theme picks one for a season or holiday theme, and nothing for the others. It's off by default, and always off when your computer is set to reduce motion.
