Privacy & permissions

URLflows for Zoom is private by design — everything it does happens on your computer, and nothing about your browsing, tabs, or meetings is ever collected or transmitted.

Where it runs

URLflows for Zoom acts only on Zoom launch tabs — pages on zoom.us and zoomgov.com that hand a meeting off to the Zoom app. It watches for those tabs so it can close them and return you to your previous tab. On every other site it does nothing.

No backend, no account

  • There's no backend — the extension works entirely within your browser.
  • There's no sign-in and no account to create.
  • No analytics, no trackers, no external servers. Nothing about your meetings or browsing leaves your machine.

Your settings and stats stay local

Your close-delay choice, the on/off state, and the stats (tabs cleaned up and when the last one was handled) are stored locally in your browser for your own reference. They aren't uploaded anywhere.

Questions about privacy?

If anything here isn't clear, let us know — we're happy to explain exactly what the extension does and doesn't do.
