The most common issues and how to fix them fast.

The sidebar won't open

  • Make sure the URLflows Workspace extension is enabled in chrome://extensions.
  • Pin the URLflows Workspace icon to your toolbar and click it directly.
  • Restart Chrome — extensions occasionally need a fresh launch after an update.

A bookmark opens in the wrong place

  • Open the bookmark's settings and double-check the open location, window size, and tab position.
  • If Tab Position Targeting is on, make sure the target index makes sense for your current window.
  • Disable App Mode if you need the full browser chrome.

Refocus closed tabs I wanted to keep

Refocus replaces the entire window. Use Chrome's Recently Closed (Ctrl/Cmd + Shift + T) to recover tabs, then adjust your Refocus section so it matches what you actually want open.

Favicons aren't loading

  • Toggle favicons off and on again in Settings → Feature Toggles.
  • If a single bookmark is missing its favicon, edit it and re-save — URLflows Workspace will refetch.

Drag-and-drop isn't working

  • Check that drag & drop is enabled in Feature Toggles.
  • Make sure you're dragging from the section header or the bookmark's drag handle, not the title text.

My data disappeared

If Chrome cleared extension storage, reinstall URLflows Workspace and import your most recent JSON backup via Settings → Data Management. See Backup & Restore.
