About Us

A small studio building browser extensions that help you manage development and engineering work — private, free, forever.

What We Do

URLflows is a studio building browser extensions that help developers and engineers manage their work — small, focused tools that live where you already build. Our developers are based in Michigan, and we focus on one thing: reducing the friction between intent and action across the development and engineering workflows you run every day.

Our flagship is URLflows for Teams — the next generation of URLflows, shared team bookmarks with private on-device AI — where most of our work goes today. Alongside it we ship URLflows for Jira, URLflows for Zoom, URLflows for Dimming, URLflows for Page Pruning, and URLflows for Individuals — our first generation, now retiring. Each tackles a different corner of how you work on the web with the same design philosophy: no bloat, no accounts where they aren't needed, no dark patterns. Everything we make is private, free, forever — no paid tiers, no upsells, nothing locked behind an account.

Where you can run our tools: Chrome and Chromium-based browsers (Edge, Brave, Opera, Arc, Vivaldi, and the rest of the family).

What We've Shipped

Next generation Flagship · Live

URLflows for Teams

Our flagship, the next generation of URLflows — and the product we develop most actively, so new tools and fixes land here first. Shared bookmarks for a whole team or a team of one, read straight from a spreadsheet you already control — it needn't be public, since the bar reads it through your existing Google session and respects your sheet's permissions. Surfaced in a slim, edge-docked bar on every page, grouped by tab and filtered by tag. Smart bookmarks use private on-device AI to auto-file every page you open into tidy categories. Rounded out with a utility belt: multi-mode screenshots, window resizing, a color picker, history search, and quick links to your AI & Google tools — all of it just as useful when the "team" is you. No URLflows backend or account. Private, free, forever.

Live

URLflows for Jira

A focused Chrome extension for Atlassian Jira. Surfaces subtasks directly under their parent cards on boards, and as a hover tooltip on the backlog — sortable by status, key, summary, and assignee. No more clicking into every parent to see what's underneath, and a little done celebration when you drag an issue home. Private, free, forever.

Live

URLflows for Zoom

The smallest tool in the family, doing one thing well: when you click a Zoom meeting link, your browser opens a tab to launch the app and then leaves it sitting there empty. URLflows for Zoom closes that leftover tab the moment the meeting launches and restores focus to the tab you were on before — no clutter, no lost focus, no manual cleanup. Everything runs locally; nothing is collected or transmitted. Private, free, forever.

Live

URLflows for Dimming

Takes the glare out of Google Docs, Sheets, and Slides — bright white by design, and hard on the eyes after a long day. A dimming slider darkens the page, a warmth slider shifts the colour toward amber, and a one-click dark mode inverts the document to a true dark theme. Choose which editors it touches, pause it anytime, and reset to defaults — all live, with no reload. Drawn as click-through overlays so editing is never affected. Nothing leaves your browser. Private, free, forever.

Live

URLflows for Page Pruning

Point at the thing bothering you and make it disappear. Click any element on a page — a cookie banner, a sticky header, a sidebar full of noise — and it's gone, with no filter syntax to learn and no list to maintain. What you hide stays hidden on that page through reloads and restarts, and you can restore one element at a time or everything on the page at once. Every hidden element is remembered on your own device; nothing is collected or transmitted. Private, free, forever.

Retiring soon Live

URLflows for Individuals

A development & engineering sidebar for your browser. Organize and launch the repos, docs, dashboards, and tools you build in every day, with granular control over how and where they open — plus productivity features like Refocus Tabs to reset your tabs in one click. This was the first generation of URLflows, and it is retiring soon: it's still on the Chrome Web Store today, but all of our work now goes into the greatly improved URLflows for Teams — which does everything this does and shares bookmarks across your devices and teammates, so do move over when you can 🙂 Private, free, forever.

Our Philosophy

We build tools for developers and engineers who care about how they work. No bloat, no accounts where they aren't needed, no dark patterns, and nothing hidden behind a paywall — everything we make is private, free, forever. Just sharp, focused software that earns its place in your workflow.
